Fellowship Application Process

The Application consists of Three Parts: 

  1. High School Transcript: Submit a copy of your high school transcript.
  2. Writing Sample: Provide a writing sample of 650 words or fewer. For guidance, you may respond to one of the optional prompts below.
  3. Letter of Commitment: Sign and submit a Letter of Commitment (click here for more information).

Optional Writing Prompts:

  • Equity in Education: What does equity in education / social equity mean to you, and how have you promoted equity in a community you are a part of?
  • Overcoming Obstacles: What has been the greatest obstacle you have faced, and how have you overcome/dealt with that obstacle?
  • Personal Identity: How has your identity shaped you up to this point? How do you see your identity continuing to shape you?
