​Fellowship Program​

• Oceanside High School Fellows deliver weekly tutoring sessions to middle schoolers.
• Passion projects by Fellows were featured in regional newspapers.
• Two Fellows were accepted to Cornell (Engineering) and WashU (Fashion Design), both with scholarships.

On top of experiencing that every Friday, you can receive a tremendous amount of assistance in getting ready for college from your mentor.

Hebrew Language Academy (HLA) Fellowship Program

• High school Fellows (HLA graduates) deliver bi-weekly tutoring sessions to current HLA middle schoolers.
• ​Passion projects on community impact developed by Fellows.
• 1 on 1 college application mentorship for high school Fellows.

The program has not only prepared me for college applications but has also given me a deeper understanding of what it means to be a purposeful, confident leader.

​Durham Empowering Education Fellowship

• Weekly mentorship sessions on social-emotional learning from Hillside High School Fellows to middle schoolers.
• Ongoing academic mentorship and college application guidance for Fellows throughout the school year.​

[My mentor] introduced me to a program I had no idea existed, where if any North Carolina citizen’s household makes less than a certain amount yearly, it receives a scholarship in which everything is paid for. I now have hope [to attend my dream school].

Intergenerational Fellowship Program

• Three parties of participants: high school students, college students, and older adults gathered to foster cross-generational connections.
• A series of six sessions was held covering leadership, communication,  and civic engagement.
• One high school Fellow was inspired to apply to college after the program.   

This program helps us gain new perspectives. Younger participants bring fresh ideas, while older adults share wisdom about lifelong wellness.
